The Leaf Identification Process

Each person's life has been inscribed on a unique palm leaf by the ancient Maharishis. Finding your specific leaf among the thousands in our collection is a sacred and divinely guided process. The thumb impression serves as the primary index for locating the correct bundle of leaves.

Bundle System (Kandam Bundles)

The palm leaves are organized into bundles, each containing leaves for people with similar thumb impression patterns. There are 108 thumb impression patterns (nadi) identified, and each pattern corresponds to specific bundles. Each bundle typically contains 50–100 leaves.

The Verification Process

The reader opens the matching bundle and begins reading each leaf aloud. For each statement made, the seeker simply says "Yes" (if it matches) or "No" (if it doesn't). This continues leaf by leaf until the correct one is confirmed — typically by matching 8–12 personal details:

• The seeker's first name and initial
• Father's name and initial
• Mother's name and initial
• Spouse's name (if married)
• Number of siblings
• Current occupation
• Birth star (if known)
• Major life events already passed

For Online Seekers

For online readings, the seeker sends their thumb impression image, and our reader matches it to the appropriate bundle. The verification session is conducted via phone call or video call. This process typically takes 30–90 minutes depending on how quickly the correct leaf is found.

What If the Leaf Is Not Found?

In some cases, a leaf may not be found during the first search. This can happen if the seeker's time has not yet come, or if a specific remedy needs to be performed first. In such cases, we advise the appropriate puja or prayer, after which the leaf is searched again.
