Our History

250+ years of unbroken divine service — a legacy written in the stars

The Origin of Nadi Astrology

Nadi Astrology traces its roots to the ancient Tamil siddhar tradition. The 18 Siddhars — enlightened masters who transcended the limitations of time and space — used their divine vision to perceive the life paths of all souls and recorded them on treated palm leaves in a script known as Vatteluthu.

The Chief Seer: Agathiyar

The most prominent of these Siddhars was Agathiyar (Agastya Muni), revered as the father of Tamil language and the greatest seer in the Nadi tradition. His leaves are the most widely sought, and our center holds an authenticated collection of Agathiyar Nadi manuscripts.

The Royal Preservation

For centuries, these manuscripts were preserved in the royal libraries of Tamil kings, particularly in Thanjavur. During the colonial period, many collections were dispersed, and authentic Nadi readers became the custodians of these priceless treasures.

The Sachudhanantham Family Legacy

Our family has been in unbroken service to seekers of Nadi knowledge for over 250 years, spanning five generations. Each generation has learned the sacred art directly from the previous one, preserving both the manuscripts and the interpretive tradition intact.

Global Reach Through Technology

Under Sri. Iswariya Sachudhanantham, the 5th generation, the center has embraced technology to serve seekers worldwide without compromising the authenticity and sanctity of the readings. Online consultations now allow people from over 50 countries to access this ancient wisdom.
